Spring/Summer season championship meets have generally been held the third or fourth weekend in July. Fall/Winter championships are usually scheduled in the last weekend in January. They are usually held at Springfield College, but sometimes other pools have been used. Swimmers must swim in a total of four dual meets to qualify for the championship meet. Trophies or medals are awarded to first through sixth places for each event, and ribbons for seventh through twelfth places. Relay teams are awarded trophies or medals for first through third places.
